Why do I have to have a referral to get a free membership?
We love referrals and are happy to help those whom our clients have so graciously referred to us. Word
of mouth is the best way to let others know how great that our service is. So when a client asks that we
take care of their friends and family as well as we have taken care of them, it is only proper that we return
the favor by waiving the membership fee for their referral.
So why am I required to pay a fee for a membership?
While we do the shopping and negotiating process for you, there are still times when we receive requests
for quotes from those who are “just curious” while preventing us from helping our valued members who
are seriously looking to lease or purchase a car. The $59.99 fee is meant to insure that our members
receive the best service available and so that we may devote those many hours involved in our research
for them. We pride ourselves in locating the car that is equipped the way that you want it and with the
lowest prices possible. This would not be possible if time was spent tracking down cars for every curious
caller who is requesting pricing out of curiosity while taking valuable time away from our members.
My brother works at a dealership, why wouldn’t I just go to him?
Your brother most likely will not be able to get you the low pricing that we are able to get for you unless
he owns the dealership. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, but he does not have control on the pricing.
Salespeople are the messengers when it comes to pricing and prices are only dictated to salespeople
from their managers, while they have no control over pricing themselves. If we get your car from where
your brother works, let us know and we will make sure that he gets taken care of.
I am great at negotiating and could probably get the same price or better, why would I go through you?
If you have more time on your hands than you know what to do with, if you enjoy going to five or six
dealerships while “beating up a salesman” and love to spend hours on the phone, then we definitely are
not for you. Our goal is to remove the stress of car buying/leasing from your life so you can use your time
for more valuable things.
I can't stand going to the dealership, can’t you just bring the car to me?
In most cases, we will deliver your new car to your home or your office. We make the car buying/leasing
experience as stress-free as possible. You sign the documents at your office or home and there is no
waiting for the finance manager to call you into his/her office to try to sell you more things when you are
trying to get back to your family or work.
What are drive offs?
Although drive offs are usually mentioned in the fine print of most ads, we like to be upfront and
informative about these fees. While there are sometimes other fees added by others, we at The
Lease Factor do our best to catch any hidden fees that you need to know about before you buy/lease.
Drive off fees should include,
• Your first months payment
• State sales tax on your down payment (this tax is charged in your monthly payment if there is no

• Vehicle registration and tags
